2021 China Top 100 Lithium enterprises national visit activity is underway!

In the afternoon of May 8th, Qidian Lithium group had an industry exchange with Zheng Yunhua, general manager of Topband Battery Low-Speed Power BU, and the Marketing Department, and visited the exhibition hall of Topband Group and the megawatt hour energy storage system in the park.

Topband was established in 1996 and successfully listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2007 (stock code 002139). After more than 20 years of rapid development, Topband has now become the world's leading provider of intelligent control solutions. The company's products have been widely used in the four major industries: home appliances, tools, industry and lithium battery.

In 2006, Topband Co., Ltd. established the Lithium Battery Division, and built a production base of more than 70,000 square meters in Huizhou. It has one-stop production capacity of batteries, BMS and Pack, and its products are widely used in energy storage, low-speed power, small power and mobile power. Zheng Yunhua introduced that Topband Battery began to engage in research and development and production of automotive battery modules at the beginning of its establishment, and accumulated rich lithium battery technology. After 2016, it gradually turned to the field of energy storage, focusing on household energy storage overseas and mainly involved in communication and power energy storage in China.

In the field of communication energy storage, two major head enterprises, China Mobile and China Tower, have been accumulated.

After the New National Standard, lead-acid batteries will be gradually replaced by lithium batteries. Taking this opportunity, Topband Battery will further develop its lithium battery market and gradually occupy a certain market share.

Topband Battery focuses on the field of low-speed vehicles at home and abroad, with Europe, America and Southeast Asia as the main markets abroad, and sharing, electricity exchange and two-wheeled electric vehicle main engine factories in China. In 2020, as the first candidate, Topband won the bid for the 2020 two-wheel battery procurement project for electric vehicles of Guangdong Branch of Iron Tower Energy Co., Ltd., and also entered the supplier system of the first echelon of power exchange enterprises in the market.

In terms of products, Topband Battery has launched different products according to the needs of different application scenarios. TB4820F and TB6020F are mainly for high-frequency battery users (B-side battery replacement), such as express delivery and take-out industries. TB4812F, TB4814F, TB4816F and other products are aimed at hosts and shared users (c-end) who have higher requirements on lightness and aesthetics of batteries. The product has the characteristics of long cycle life, good waterproof performance, firmness and reliability.

It is worth mentioning that at the beginning of this year, Topband Battery acquired 70% equity of Ninghui Lithium Battery with its own or self-raised funds of RMB 15.4 million, and increased its capital by RMB 18 million to successfully hold 83.5% equity of Ninghui Lithium Battery.

Ninghui Lithium Battery mainly develops and produces cylindrical lithium-ion power batteries, which are mostly used in small power and energy storage related products such as two or three-wheeled vehicles, low-speed vehicles, forklifts, AGV and UPS energy storage equipment, and have cooperative relations with multinational enterprises such as Germany, Russia and Iran.

By acquiring the production line and technology of cylindrical batteries, on the one hand, Topband Battery has further defined the technical route of low-speed power products to ensure the capacity scale, and at the same time, it will continue to increase capital investment and build Ninghui Battery into a battery production line with an annual output of 20 million batteries in 2021. On the other hand, with the help of this acquisition, Topband Battery successfully completed the all-round layout of three technical routes: prismatic cell, pouch cell and cylindrical cell, and realized the sharing of technical resources and customer resources, which further improved its competitiveness, and will provide people with a safe and reliable life experience with richer and higher-quality lithium battery products.
